Wall Absorber - Aged Symmetry

How the acoustic picture works

Art with a purpose

Beautiful on the wall. More comfortable sound in the room.

There is a carefully considered construction behind the image. A sound-permeable specialist canvas and a 35 mm acoustic panel help absorb sound and reduce sound reflections in the room.

How different tones are absorbed

The curve shows the tested V2 construction’s sound absorption from lower to higher frequencies.

Practical sound absorption

Frequency (Hz) · Lower tones → higher tones

What do the percentages mean?

The percentages show practical sound absorption at the stated frequency: αp × 100. For example, 0.50 corresponds to 50%. This does not mean that the sound level throughout the room falls by 50%.

V2 measurement conditions: approximately 35 mm panel thickness, 55 mm overall mounting depth and a 10.8 m² test area. The values apply to the tested construction and mounting.

The difference is on the inside

Spacers create an air gap against the wall. The picture comes with hanging hardware suited to its weight.

What difference will it make at home?

This depends on factors including the room’s size and surfaces, and the total area and position of the pictures. They help reduce sound reflections within the room; they do not soundproof between rooms.

Brown circle above rust tones and blue overlaps

At the top, a large brown circle gathers the rounded shapes together, while blue overlaps draw the eye downwards. A horizontal rust-brown field links the warmer and cooler areas. This acoustic wall art combines a clear geometric arrangement with mottled colour variations that lend softness and a gently aged appearance.
