Wall Absorber - Aurora's Flow

How the acoustic picture works

Art with a purpose

Beautiful on the wall. More comfortable sound in the room.

There is a carefully considered construction behind the image. A sound-permeable specialist canvas and a 35 mm acoustic panel help absorb sound and reduce sound reflections in the room.

How different tones are absorbed

The curve shows the tested V2 construction’s sound absorption from lower to higher frequencies.

Practical sound absorption

Frequency (Hz) · Lower tones → higher tones

What do the percentages mean?

The percentages show practical sound absorption at the stated frequency: αp × 100. For example, 0.50 corresponds to 50%. This does not mean that the sound level throughout the room falls by 50%.

V2 measurement conditions: approximately 35 mm panel thickness, 55 mm overall mounting depth and a 10.8 m² test area. The values apply to the tested construction and mounting.

The difference is on the inside

Spacers create an air gap against the wall. The picture comes with hanging hardware suited to its weight.

What difference will it make at home?

This depends on factors including the room’s size and surfaces, and the total area and position of the pictures. They help reduce sound reflections within the room; they do not soundproof between rooms.

Practical sound absorption coefficient according to SS-EN ISO 11654. Measurement according to SS-EN ISO 354. Test date: 20 November 2024. Weighted sound absorption coefficient αw: 0.80 (H). Absorption class: B.

Woman with closed eyes and sweeping brown hair

Long brown locks sweep sideways with warm streaks of amber and gold. The woman lowers her face over a bare shoulder, her closed eyes offering a still counterpoint to the moving hair. Dark curves meet a softly creamy background in this acoustic art.
